Our last exhibition
Although he received classes from Narcís Puget Viñas and Vicente Rincón, he can be considered a self-taught painter. He never stopped researching and learning; he was very critical of his work, he wanted to improve it and evolve. He worked intensely producing works of diverse themes, predominantly landscapes, seascapes, still lifes and scenes of peasants, with great interest in traditional clothing. He almost always used the oil on fabrics carefully prepared by him. He participated in innumerable exhibitions, receiving numerous prizes and awards, such as the Social Work Medal of the Island Council or the Silver Medal of the Red Cross. He combined painting, in addition to his family trade, with social work, promoting the creation of ASPANADIF and the Red Cross of the Sea.
