Josep Tarrés. Landscapes seen through topaz eyes

Over the years, the Ethnographic Museum of Eivissa has been committed to publicising the work of local painters and artists who have focused the theme of their work, or part of it, on Eivissa. Although Josep Tarrés was a painter unknown to many, he was part of the island's artistic and cultural emergence of the early twentieth century.

In this exhibition, which took place in the porxo of the museum, the presented works were mostly urban landscapes of the Marina and sa Penya. This collection constitutes the family heritage of Tarrés’ grandchildren.
