Puget. Alcurnia of artists
In 2020, the year of the sixtieth anniversary of the death of Narcís Puget Viñas, considered the initiator of modern Ibizan painting, the Ethnographic Museum of Ibiza wanted to pay tribute to his artistic work and also that of his son, Narcís Puget Riquer. The exhibition, which was held on the museum's porch, featured works from the family collection of the daughters of Puget Riquer, others in the private collection of Isabel Tur Vilás and others in the background of art of the Island Council of Ibiza.
One of the objectives of this exhibition used part of the photographic legacy of Narcís Puget Viñas, a technique that saved them from the economic difficulties they suffered at some point and also served as a starting point for the paintings.
