Francesc Riera Bonet, Paco Riera

He was a student of Antoni Pomar i Carloandrés at the School of Arts and Crafts of Eivissa. He went on to study drawing and painting at the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts in Barcelona. His pictorial style has evolved from the Impressionism of his first watercolours of landscapes and interiors in gouache, through portraits with expressionist lines since the 1980s, to a new stage of geometric abstractions at the end of the 1990s. He has combined his dedication to art with the teaching profession at the School of Arts and Crafts of Eivissa and he regularly exhibits throughout the island.
