Dominique Sanson

This self-taught artist moved to Eivissa in the middle of the twentieth century. His philosophical beliefs greatly influence the themes of his works, and he defines his own style as surrealist with touches of impressionism and oriental influence. His best-known work is The Epic of Eivissa and Formentera (La epopeya de Eivissa y Formentera) and in 2009 he donated an acrylic painting to the Consell Insular de Eivissa called Eivissa, Phoenician port (Ibiza, puerto fenicio). La epopeya de Eivissa y Formentera y en 2009 donó una pintura acrílica al Consell Insular de Eivissa llamada Ibiza, puerto fenicio.
